CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. Dr. Kakos and our team have undergone extensive CEREC training so that we can design and mill strong, beautiful restorations with this state-of-the-art technology.
Here's how CEREC works. First, Dr. Kakos will take digital impressions of your teeth using a special, highly precise camera. The CEREC milling machine will use the digital image to design a custom restoration for you, matching the color precisely with the shade of your natural teeth. The CEREC machine then mills the restoration on site. Dr. Kakos will bonds your new crown, inlay, or onlay to your tooth- to restore your smile - all in a single visit!
